Workshop on Make Your Research Count: Publishing

The third of the four Knowledge Management in Research (KMIR) workshops for staff and postgraduate students focuses on ‘Make Your Research Count: Publishing’.

Purpose of this module:
To give participants an understanding of the academic publishing environment and the skills to optimise the impact of their research publications.

Learning objectives:

  • develop understanding of the research assessment environment and Massey University’s research strategy
  • gain an understanding of where best to publish
  • develop a personal publication strategy
  • develop strategies for enhancing a potential publication for discovery and citation

Take a look at the learning objectives for each of the four workshops and enrol online.  Please note, you can attend all four workshops in the series, or just those that interest you most.Bookings are essential for all four modules. Manawatū is now fully booked for June, and taking names for future sessions, dates to be advised. Albany and Wellington still have spaces available for the June sessions.
